You are about to receive an email to download a convenient software framework to execute GridCal under Windows. The GridCal version that ships with this software framework is most likely out of date since GridCal is a python package distributed via pypi.org.

On GridCal going to Help > About > Update, you will see if the software is up to date and the simple instructions to update it. GridCal has the promise to always be retrocompatoble with older GridCal formats, so there will never be a problem updating.
